Secure document editing lets you create, edit, and update Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files directly in your Digify data room. Powered by Microsoft Office integration, your team can collaborate securely without downloads or re-uploads.
You can edit Microsoft Office files including .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx formats. Other file types can still be stored and shared in Digify, but only these formats are supported for direct editing.
Yes. Each editor must have a valid Microsoft 365 license. Digify integrates with Microsoft 365 for the web, and you must agree to Microsoft’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Yes. Data room owners and co-owners can turn Editing with MS Office on or off in the room settings. This gives you flexibility to choose when editing is allowed.
Only data room owners, co-owners, and contributors can edit files. Guests or viewers do not have editing rights.
When editing is enabled, tracking, dynamic watermarking, and screen shield are disabled for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. This ensures compatibility with Microsoft 365’s editing environment.
Availability depends on Microsoft’s policies. Some regions may not support Microsoft 365 for the web. Check Microsoft’s current eligibility list to confirm.
